The Canadian Karting League is an Ontario based Arrive and Arive karting league. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and competitive environment for anyone over 8 years of age to enjoy the sport of karting. Designed for both beginners and advanced drivers we offer a cost effective way to enjoy the sport of karting.
Our high performance racing karts are for the exclusive use of our members. We ensure that every one of our karts is in top condition thanks to an aggressive maintenance procedure that ensures you will be racing not watching. Before you arrive for your event, a professional driver has driven each of our karts the day before you arrive. His job is to tune each kart so that it will perform equally to all our other karts. We ensure that every kart is within 0.2 of a second over a complete timed lap - with transponders.
Russ Bond -- I have been around arrive and drive karting for years. It is clearly the best place for anyone to start racing simply because of the financial upside for the drivers - just show up, pay your money and race, it's simple.
That being said, it is important that we give our members a good experience. I have seen arrive and drive with junk as karts that are not even remotely close in performance. That is not what we do here. Our karts are for our members only. They don't get used except at our CKL Championship races. We have a full time staff of mechanics to make sure all our karts are ready for competition on race day. I don't want our members watching karts get worked on - I want them racing.
For those that visited the Innisfil Kart Club's information centre at the Orillia Square Mall, the kart used for the pictures is the standard.

GP Racing Karts offer FWT deals
Join Innisfil Indy and GP Racing Karts at the Florida Winter Tour...
We have a few selected openings for drivers to join us on the Florida Winter Tour. With the success of the GP Racing Karts this year, being DD2 National Champion, and showing well in Max SR and Jr, we have seen good interest from drivers wanting to race with us at the upcoming Florida Winter Tour.
Recently we hosted a free trial for drivers to try the GP, and we think many left with the impression that they might need to change up their current racing programs for next year.
GP Racing Karts and Innisfil Indy have a wide variety of offers for drivers wishing to compete in the FWT from full GP Racing Karts arrive-and-drive programs to transportation services for driver owned equipment. Tuning and engine services are also available from Innisfil Indy.
This year we had great chassis in the GP Racing Karts, and great engine power from Innisfil Indy, GP Racing Karts' current Canadian National DD2 Champion Frank Launi reports "We made some small changes during the year, and they all worked out for the best. All of our team drivers had good results this year, and we are sure when we get to the FWT that once again, our GP Racing Karts drivers will be in the hunt for wins". Frank Launi will be part of Team Canada and representing Canada in the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Egypt this December.

Launi wins 2009 National Championship for GP Racing Karts
Launi dominates Rotax DD2 final at Goodwood...
GOODWOOD, ONTARIO - GP Racing Karts and the Innisfil Indy racing team had a fantastic weekend at the ASN/FIA Canadian National Karting Championships which were held this past weekend at the historic Goodwood Kartways.
GP Racing Karts team leader, Frank Launi, along with teammates Zack Meyer and Michael Lombardi were all competing in the headline Rotax DD2 class. There was not only a National Championship on the line for the trio, but also a birth to join Team Canada at the Rotax Max World Finals later this year in Egypt.
"This weekend was very important to us," Launi said. "We knew with the level of competition in DD2 that it would be a tough haul, but I had confidence in our Innisfil Indy team, and the GP Racing Karts."
Launi, who qualified second in DD2, while his teammate Meyer was third and Lombardi slotted in 12th. In the heat races, Launi and Meyer were consistently at the front, while Lombardi made his way up the crowded field.
In the final, it was all Launi from the drop of the green flag. Launi took the lead early during the fifth lap and never looked back. It was a huge - and very popular - win for Launi.
"I just want to thank everyone that had a part in this win," Launi said. "It couldn't have gone any better in the final, and I am very happy to have another chance to represent Canada at the World Finals. Our GP Racing Kart chassis was perfect the entire 30 lap distance, and my Rotax engine performed perfectly thanks to my brother Joe. This is a great win for our team, and once again thanks to everyone that made this happen - especially my dad and my brother."
Meyer also had a decent result in the final, finishing fifth, and Lombardi, after starting seventh, had a good run going until he had an issue with his nose cone that forced him to retire. Eric Gerrits, who was also on a GP Racing Kart finished 7th in DD2.
